Adam Tosh

Adam brings over 25 years of investment experience to his role as President and CEO of Alaska Investment Management.

Before founding AIM, Adam built a foundation of relationships through his roles as Chief Investment Officer and senior portfolio management for various firms. His expertise spans managing portfolios of varying sizes, from $5 million to $32 billion, for college endowments, foundations, asset management firms, high-net-worth family offices, and pension funds.

Adam possesses a deep and comprehensive understanding of diverse investment structures, strategies, and securities across a wide range of asset classes. He is highly skilled in all facets of optimal asset allocation, portfolio scenario analysis, asset class structuring, due diligence, and risk management, consistently driving outperformance through direct portfolio management.

Outside the office, Adam enjoys climbing mountains and has a humorous tale of watching his tent fly away. At least once a year, you won’t be able to find Adam because he is out fly fishing for trout and salmon. “There is nothing better than catching a silver salmon on a fly rod”.

He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. Adam is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and has completed the Alaska Pacific University Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program (ANELP).

Allison Capps

Born and raised in Alaska, Allison brings over 10 years of experience to her role as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Her career in client service and marketing is marked by a people-first approach, ensuring client needs are always prioritized and compliance standards are upheld.

Prior to joining AIM, Allison worked for Alaska-based asset managers before transitioning into marketing and strategy consulting. In her most recent role, she and her team played a pivotal role in helping over 70,000 Alaskans receive financial relief during the COVID-19 
pandemic, demonstrating her commitment to community and innovation.

Outside of her professional life, Allison is a Certified Sommelier with a passion for exploring the world. With a love for fishing, she proudly recalls catching a 350lb halibut in a 16-foot skiff off Anchor Point, Alaska.

Allison is bilingual in Spanish and holds a BSBA International Business Finance and a BA in Spanish
from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

Claudia Jackson

Claudia brings over 24 years of experience in asset management and global trading to her role as Director of Investments.

Her extensive background includes senior roles focused on risk management and trade execution. Previously, as Head Trader, she executed all global trading activities, ensuring optimal portfolio implementation across 60+ international markets. She is dedicated to driving investment performance and fostering strong client relationships in a dynamic market landscape.

Born in South Africa, Claudia also lived in Canada before settling down in Alaska. She enjoys volunteering in her kid’s youth sports booster clubs, baking delicious treats and traveling overseas to visit family

Claudia holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree in Advanced Finance and Investment Management and a Bachelor of Commerce Finance, Economics and Law from the University of South Africa.

Jason Christy

Jason Christy is a seasoned IT leader with over a decade of specialized experience in cybersecurity and compliance within the financial sector.

As Director of IT at Alaska Investment Management (AIM), Jason drives the strategic development of IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets business objectives and adheres to rigorous industry standards. His leadership has been instrumental in securing and optimizing systems to bolster both operational efficiency and data protection.

In his prior role as Manager of IT and Cybersecurity at McKinley Management, Jason successfully managed complex multi-state IT environments. He spearheaded the development and execution of comprehensive cybersecurity programs and was pivotal in ensuring compliance with financial regulations. His expertise in leading cybersecurity audits, penetration tests, and developing robust Business Continuity Plans has consistently resulted in successful audits and fortified security postures.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys hiking Alaska’s breathtaking mountains, competing in local races, and fishing for salmon and halibut in the state’s pristine waters.
